30.04.2024: The Bhojpuri entertainment industry was shaken by the news of actress Amrita Pandey’s untimely demise, discovered at her Bihar residence on April 27. Reports indicate that Amrita had posted a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status just hours before her tragic passing, adding a haunting layer to the unfolding events.

Amrita’s alleged message, “Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya,” hints at underlying struggles she may have been facing. Her family disclosed concerns about her career trajectory, citing a lack of work opportunities and her battle with depression as contributing factors.

The actress, who tied the knot with Mumbai-based Chandramani Jhangad in 2022, was known for her roles in the web series ‘Pratishodh’ and her collaboration with Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav in the film ‘Deewanapan’.

Authorities were alerted to the tragic incident at the Divyadharma Apartment in Adampur Ship Ghat, prompting an investigation by the Jogsar Police. Family members recount the heartbreaking discovery of Amrita’s lifeless body, found hanging in her room. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
