Tejasvi Surya on Clean Politics: Unraveling the Electoral Bond Debate
20.04.2024 : Tejasvi Surya, the current MP from Bengaluru South, recently reiterated that electoral bonds are not a major electoral concern. Instead, he emphasized that people understand the underlying intention behind electoral bonds—to ensure clean money flows into politics.
During a break in his re-election campaign, Surya enjoyed lunch at a BJP worker’s residence in Koramangala, taking a moment to connect with party members over food. This came shortly after facing disruptions at a meeting regarding the Sri Guru Raghavendra Sahakara Niyamita bank scam.
Despite the incident, Surya remained unfazed, engaging with party workers and later sharing insights with The Hindu.
