27.05.2024: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the SSC (Class 10) results for 2024. This year, an impressive 95.81% of students successfully passed the exam, marking a 1.98% increase in the pass percentage compared to last year.
Girls Outshine Boys
In a notable achievement, girl students outperformed boys by 2.56%. In 2023, the pass percentage for girls was 95.87%, while boys had a pass percentage of 92.05%. This trend of girls excelling continues this year, highlighting their dedication and hard work.

Important Information
To pass the Maharashtra SSC exams, students must score at least 35% in each subject. However, those scoring as low as 20% will also be considered pass.
Examination Overview
This year, over 15 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 board examinations, which were conducted from March 1 to March 26. The exams were held in two shifts: the first shift from 11 AM to 2 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Verification and Compartment Exams
The registration window for verifying the SSC result marks will be open from May 28 to June 11. Students who fail to clear the final exam will have the opportunity to sit for compartment examinations.
