“Inside Story: Elvish Yadav Confesses to Supplying Snake Venom at Events”

According to the report, Elvish Yadav, who initially denied his involvement in the snake venom case, also admitted during interrogation that he was acquainted with the other individuals arrested last year for supplying snake venom.
The other five individuals, previously arrested and currently out on bail, were identified as Rahul (32), Teetunath (45), Jaikaran (50), Narayan (50), and Ravinath (45), all residents of Moharband village in southeast Delhi’s Badarpur area.
Elvish Yadav gained widespread recognition as a YouTuber and singer from Gurugram after winning the Bigg Boss OTT 2 reality show hosted by Salman Khan in 2023.
Following his arrest, he has been placed in 14-day judicial custody and was summoned for questioning at Sector 20 police station on Sunday. Officials familiar with the matter have stated that he is also accused of incorporating snakes in his video productions. Noida Police asserted, “We have gathered substantial evidence against Elvish Yadav regarding his involvement in supplying snake venom.”
On November 3 of the previous year, Elvish Yadav and five others were charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal. This development ensued after an animal welfare activist associated with an NGO, People For Animals, filed a complaint with the Sector 49 police station.
Elvish Yadav Admits to Arranging Snake Venom at Rave Parties: Sources
New Delhi: Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, has reportedly confessed to organizing snakes and snake venom at rave parties he hosted, as per police sources.
Mr. Yadav, who was arrested in connection with the snake venom case, also admitted during interrogation that he was acquainted with the individuals arrested last year for supplying snake venom, according to sources.
The 26-year-old YouTuber, who initially denied involvement in the snake venom controversy, acknowledged that he had encountered the accused at various rave parties and maintained contact with them, sources added.
He was remanded in 14-day judicial custody following his arrest.
Mr. Yadav, facing charges under the Wildlife Act, now confronts allegations under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Section 29 of this rigorous law, invoked against him, deals with drug-related conspiracies such as buying and selling, making bail challenging under this statute.
Moreover, Elvish Yadav is accused of featuring snakes in his video productions. Sources revealed that he had previously informed the police that the snakes seen in his videos were arranged by Bollywood singer Fazilpuria.
The police previously apprehended five individuals in this case after conducting a raid at a banquet hall in Noida. Among them were four snake charmers. Additionally, nine snakes and snake venom were seized during the event.
The raid was prompted by a complaint from an NGO member, who set a trap and contacted Mr. Yadav regarding snake venom. The NGO member received a phone number that led to the five accused, according to police sources.
