Gangster’s 9-Minute Speech to Shooters Before Attack on Salman Khan’s House
On April 14, two motorbike-borne individuals fired multiple shots outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s home in Galaxy Apartment, Bandra.
26.07.2024: Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, delivered a nine-minute “motivational” speech to the shooters who targeted Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence in April. According to the chargesheet filed by the Mumbai police’s crime branch, Anmol Bishnoi told the two shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, that they would “script history” with their attack.
Gupta and Pal, on motorbikes, fired several shots outside Mr. Khan’s home on the morning of April 14. Anmol Bishnoi, through an audio note, told the shooters, now in judicial custody, that they were about to undertake the “best work” of their lives. “Do this work well. After the work is completed, you guys will script history,” he said, according to the 1,735-page chargesheet presented to a special court in Mumbai.
Encouraging the shooters, Anmol Bishnoi described the attack as “religious work” and emphasized its significance in bringing change to society. He also highlighted the Bishnoi gang’s style, urging the shooters to “empty the magazine” of their guns outside Salman Khan’s house.
“Fire Shots to Scare Salman Khan”
Anmol Bishnoi’s message was clear: “Fire shots in such a manner that it scares Salman Khan.” He instructed Gupta and Pal not to wear helmets and to smoke cigarettes to appear fearless. The police investigation revealed that Anmol Bishnoi was in constant touch with Gupta and Pal before the shooting.
The shooters, along with three others—Sonukumar Bishnoi, Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary, and Harpal Singh—have been arrested and are currently in judicial custody. Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol, and another individual named Rawtaran Bishnoi are listed as wanted accused in the chargesheet. Anmol Bishnoi is believed to be in Canada, and a lookout circular has been issued against him.
