Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s Bold Stance: India’s Fight Against Terror

06.04.2024: In a recent statement, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated India’s strong stance against terrorism and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to safeguarding its borders and maintaining peace. His comments come amidst discussions about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and India’s unwavering position on the region’s sovereignty.
“If any terrorist tries to disturb the peace in Bharat, or tries to carry out terror activities in Bharat, we will give them a befitting reply (muh tod jawab),” asserted Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on April 5. He further stated, “If they run away to Pakistan, we will enter Pakistan to kill them (Pakistan mein ghus ke marenge).”
Singh’s remarks underline India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its determination to eliminate threats posed by terrorist elements. He emphasized that PoK has always been a part of India, is currently part of India, and will remain so in the future.
“The strength of India lies in its unity and resolve to protect its citizens and sovereignty. Pakistan is also beginning to acknowledge this reality,” added Mr. Singh. He also highlighted India’s commitment to maintaining positive relations with neighboring countries, including Pakistan, while asserting India’s track record of not initiating aggressive actions against any nation.
