29.07.2024: Ram Charan Teja and his wife Upasana had an extraordinary experience during their visit to the Paris Olympics. The couple, who were there to cheer for fellow Hyderabadi PV Sindhu, got a personal tour of the Olympic village from the badminton star herself.
Cheerleaders from Hyderabad
PV Sindhu had the support of her fellow Hyderabadis, Ram Charan and Upasana, during her match against Maldives’ Fathimath Abdul Razzaq on Sunday. The couple was thrilled to witness the event and later joined Sindhu for an exclusive tour.
A Tour to Remember
Upasana shared her excitement through her Instagram stories, showing glimpses of their tour. She described the Olympic village as “a vibe” and expressed her joy in exploring the area with Sindhu. The tour began at the Indian residency and then moved to the training area.
Fun Interactions
During the tour, Sindhu asked Ram Charan if they take their pet, Rhyme, everywhere, and spent some playful moments with the pet. Upasana captured these candid interactions, adding to the charm of the visit.
Exploring the Dining Area
The trio then visited the massive dining area. Upasana asked Sindhu if there was Indian food available, to which Sindhu replied that while there wasn’t Indian food, there was Asian cuisine available.
Meeting Chiranjeevi
The tour also included a special moment when Sindhu met veteran actor Chiranjeevi. Olympic Opening Ceremony
Ram Charan, Upasana, and his parents, Chiranjeevi and Surekha, attended the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Notably, this was the first time in the history of the Games that the opening ceremony was held outside the stadium. The Indian team was led by two-time medallist PV Sindhu and five-time Olympian Sharath Kamal. The participants made a historic entrance by sailing through a river.
