On Thursday morning, Dilip was going to vote campaign in Bhatar in East Burdwan after his morning walk. On the way, he went to a Trinamool program on the occasion of Eid at Dighirpar in Talit.

Dilip Ghosh has garnered significant attention for multiple reasons during his campaign. Additionally, he faced backlash from party leaders due to his controversial remarks. However, on this particular day, another individual named Dilip witnessed an incident at the Burdwan-Durgapur center. A BJP candidate abruptly departed from a Trinamool program during the election campaign, choosing to stay and enjoy a beverage. Meanwhile, amidst the ‘Joy Bangla’ slogan, members of the ruling party delivered speeches using a microphone.

The BJP candidate subsequently informed Anandabazar Online that the Trinamool leaders and activists had expressed their desire to halt the car and offer them sharbat on their way to Vatar. I responded by stating that the syrup would spill in the car, and therefore, I decided to step out. Subsequently, they escorted me to their camp where I stayed for a brief period. I indulged in some sharbat and they chanted the Jai Bangla slogan. I also took the opportunity to address the crowd using their microphone. During my speech, I emphasized the importance of giving equal significance to the celebration of all religious events.

Within this specific context, Prasenjit Das, the spokesperson for the State Trinamool, stated, “Regardless, evil can be considered as good.” Dilip Ghosh consistently engages in negative discourse. However, he took to the Trinamool stage and symbolically drank water. It is only now, belatedly, that his conscience is awakening. Here, we have a community of Hindu-Muslim brothers and sisters. Bengal is not plagued by any unrest. Nevertheless, there are some who attempt to distort the reality.
