Vote for BJP: Amit Shah’s Rallying Cry Against Mamata’s Fear Tactics

23.04.2024 : In a fiery address at Karandighi, Bengal’s Uttar Dinajpur district, Union Home Minister Amit Shah rallied support for BJP’s Raiganj candidate Kartik Paul, emphasizing the party’s stance on key issues affecting the region.
Shah directly confronted Mamata Banerjee’s government, highlighting their alleged reluctance towards implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and accusing them of failing to address infiltration concerns. He assured Hindu refugees of citizenship under the new law and called for increased support to tackle these challenges effectively.
The Raiganj constituency, previously won by BJP in 2019, is once again a focal point in this election. Shah urged voters to increase BJP’s seat count, citing promises such as the construction of AIIMS in north Bengal, which he claimed were hindered by the current state government.
Referencing recent controversies like the Sandeshkhali incident and the Calcutta High Court’s actions, Shah criticized the alleged mismanagement and corruption under the Trinamool Congress (TMC) regime. He promised accountability and transparency under BJP’s governance, vowing to confront corruption and ensure justice for citizens.
Contrasting Shah’s assertions, Mamata Banerjee countered with claims of BJP’s desperation following early polling defeats. She dismissed BJP’s allegations and reiterated her opposition to CAA and NRC in West Bengal, framing them as threats to citizens’ rights.
